Hunter Biden just declared war on the Democratic establishment. Kamala Harris is testing a radical new platform. And somehow, the DNC’s response involved a white cat.

Something deeply strange is happening inside the Democratic Party.

Its senior leadership is being attacked by its own activists. The Biden family is publicly settling old scores. James Carville remains psychologically incapable of completing a sentence without summoning Donald Trump.

And just when it appeared the situation could not become any more absurd, a DNC official appeared in front of a wall of glowing monitors while stroking a large white cat.

No, that is not satire.

The Democratic National Committee has officially entered its Dr. Evil phase.

But behind the comedy is a much larger political story.

The Democratic establishment is losing control of the party. The socialist wing is supplying the energy and increasingly the agenda. The Biden faction is furious over what happened in 2024.

And one familiar political figure is quietly stepping back onto the runway.

First, however, Hunter Biden decided to light the terminal on fire.

Hunter Biden Takes a Flamethrower to the Establishment

During an appearance on Barstool Sports’ Macrodosing podcast, Hunter Biden explained that he was not seeking public office and could therefore speak freely.

Then he unloaded.

Hunter used profane language to attack Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and accused him of betraying Joe Biden. He also blamed Nancy Pelosi for participating in the pressure campaign that drove his father from the 2024 presidential race. Those remain Hunter Biden’s allegations, but the political significance is undeniable: the former president’s son is publicly accusing two of the Democratic Party’s most powerful figures of helping destroy his father’s presidency.

The Democratic Party spent years presenting the Biden administration as one big, competent, democracy-saving family.

Now Hunter is standing outside the family reunion with a gasoline can.

His message was unmistakable:

You betrayed my father.

You forced him out.

You handed the nomination to someone else.

And I am no longer protecting you.

That is not routine criticism. It is a member of the Biden family publicly declaring war on the party establishment.

Apparently, democracy gets tense when the cameras stay on too long.

Schumer Discovers the Rebellion Is Coming From the Left

While Hunter attacked Schumer from inside the old Biden operation, Schumer was simultaneously being attacked from the party’s activist flank.

At a National Press Club event promoting proposed anti-corruption legislation, Schumer attempted to focus attention on alleged corruption involving President Trump.

Instead, activist Sam Husseini interrupted the event and accused Schumer of hypocrisy and complicity in Israel’s military actions. Schumer repeatedly attempted to regain control before the protester was removed.

The scene perfectly captured the Democratic Party’s current predicament.

Schumer walked onto the stage, pointed toward Trump and effectively said:

“Everyone look over there.”

The activist left answered:

“No, Chuck. We’re looking at you.”

The old Democratic leadership still seems to believe it can activate the radical left during elections, borrow its anger, collect its votes and then place it safely back in storage.

That arrangement is dead.

The activist wing no longer wants to serve as the establishment’s campaign army. It wants control of the weapons, the headquarters and the target list.

Schumer may believe he is driving the vehicle.

The activists are reaching through the window for the steering wheel.

Hunter is setting fire to the back seat.

And the GPS is pointing toward the Democratic Socialists of America.

Meanwhile, James Carville Is Still Trapped Inside Trump’s Head

With Democrats fighting one another, James Carville was asked about the possibility of Trump attempting another run in 2028.

There is a relatively simple constitutional response to that question: the Twenty-Second Amendment.

Carville went considerably further.

He predicted that Trump would leave office before April 15, 2027, and argued that the president was undergoing physical and emotional decline. The White House rejected his claims as baseless. Carville’s comments were political assessments, not a medical diagnosis supported by publicly released clinical evidence.

This has become the Democratic Party’s central psychological problem.

Trump is supposedly finished—but must be discussed constantly.

Trump is supposedly irrelevant—but every Democratic message is constructed around him.

Trump is supposedly weak—but also an unstoppable threat capable of destroying civilization before breakfast.

Pick a hallucination.

The party cannot.

Trump is no longer simply its opponent. He is its organizing principle.

And when a political movement defines itself entirely through opposition to one person, it eventually loses the ability to explain what it actually supports.

That vacuum is now being filled from the socialist left.

The DNC Enters Its White-Cat Era

Then came the video.

Scott Brown, who identifies himself as deputy director of DNC Studios, posted a personal message defending the people working inside the Democratic National Committee after what he acknowledged had been a difficult week.

The video was not labeled as an official DNC production.

Brown was seated in front of several editing monitors with a large white cat stretched across his lap.

His intended message was understandable: talented people remained inside the organization, working hard despite the negative coverage.

The visual message was something else entirely.

You cannot sit in front of glowing surveillance monitors, slowly stroke a white cat and tell America that everything is under control.

That image does not say:

“Our organization remains strong.”

It says:

“The laser is almost operational.”

Even Dr. Evil would have questioned the camera angle.

The DNC was facing internal criticism, financial and leadership questions, ideological warfare and public attacks from the Biden family.

And its morale video looked like the opening scene of a plan to hold the Electoral College ransom for one million dollars.

But the timing mattered.

Because while the old establishment was being attacked and the DNC was reassuring itself that the building was not on fire, another familiar Democrat began previewing a possible path toward 2028.

She’s Back

Kamala Harris has not formally announced a 2028 presidential campaign.

That distinction matters.

But she has repeatedly left the door wide open. In April, when Al Sharpton asked whether she might run again, Harris responded that she might and was actively thinking about it.

Then she appeared at the National Urban League Conference and began discussing the kind of agenda that could anchor another national campaign.

Harris raised the possibility of changing the Electoral College, expanding the Supreme Court to 13 justices and pursuing statehood for Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. She also discussed stronger congressional responses involving federal judges and judicial nominees.

This was not an official candidacy announcement.

It was something almost as important:

A runway test.

The engines are turning.

The lights are on.

And Kamala Airlines may once again be preparing to board America onto a flight with no identifiable destination and several missing sentences.

Please return your logic to the full and upright position.

The 13-Court Catastrophe

While supporting a 13-member Supreme Court, Harris said the number would correspond with America’s “13 district courts.”

That is incorrect.

The United States has 94 federal district courts. Those districts are organized into 12 regional circuits, each with a court of appeals. The separate Federal Circuit brings the total number of federal appellate courts to 13.

Harris appears to have confused district courts with appellate courts.

She had the right number.

She had the wrong court.

That would be embarrassing in a high-school civics presentation.

It becomes considerably more troubling when the person making the mistake is proposing to restructure the highest court in the United States.

It is like offering to rebuild an engine after identifying the steering wheel as the carburetor.

But the factual blunder may be less important than the ideological direction.

Kamala’s Platform Meets the Democratic Socialists

The current online program published by the Democratic Socialists of America calls for abolishing the Electoral College and replacing the presidency and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary selected by—and subordinate to—Congress.

Kamala Harris has not endorsed that entire program.

She has not called for eliminating the presidency or abolishing the Senate. Any claim that she has fully adopted the DSA platform would overstate the evidence.

But the areas of overlap are impossible to ignore.

Harris is considering changes to the Electoral College.

The DSA wants it abolished.

Harris supports expanding the Supreme Court.

The DSA wants the existing judicial structure replaced and subordinated to Congress.

Harris raised D.C. statehood.

The socialist left supports structural changes designed to expand congressional power.

The direction is clear even when the destinations differ.

Harris appears to believe she can capture the energy of the socialist wing without surrendering control to it.

The establishment believes it can borrow selected radical policies without being consumed by the movement demanding them.

That is an extraordinarily dangerous bet.

Especially because the DSA’s current program wants to replace the presidency—while Kamala Harris may be preparing to run for president.

Only Kamala could campaign for an office by courting a movement that wants to eliminate the office.

Kamala Harris for President: Together, We Can Finally Get Rid of Presidents.

It is the political equivalent of applying to become CEO by promising to abolish management.

This Is Not a Rebuilding. It Is a Succession War.

Taken separately, these events are bizarre.

Taken together, they reveal the battle lines inside the Democratic Party.

Hunter Biden represents the faction seeking revenge for the political destruction of Joe Biden.

Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi represent an establishment increasingly distrusted by its own voters and activists.

The Democratic Socialists represent an insurgent movement that does not merely want different policies—it wants a fundamentally different political structure.

And Kamala Harris appears to believe she can stand between all three factions and become their candidate.

That is not a coalition.

That is a hostage negotiation with campaign buttons.

Hunter revealed the revenge.

Schumer revealed the rebellion.

James Carville revealed the obsession.

Dr. Evil revealed the panic.

And Kamala revealed the answer:

The Democratic Party may not have a new idea, a new identity or a new generation ready to take control.

So it is reaching backward, borrowing from the socialists and preparing to repackage the same candidate America already rejected.

Hunter lit the fuse.

The DNC official held the cat.

The party began tearing itself apart.

And then came the message nobody expected:
