TikTok, the wildly popular Chinese social media app used my many children and teens throughout he United States, received much chastising from lawmakers in the Senate after they declined to send a representative to a congressional hearing looking into the tech mis-use of U.S. citizens data and more importantly our children’s data.  The newest International tech-titan joins the non-elite group of privacy violators that are working diligently to destroy the rights and freedoms of America’s citizens.

The Senate Judiciary Committee’s crime and terrorism panel hearing has now started, it was called by Senator Josh Hawley, a Republican rights champion that has deeply scrutinized Google, Facebook and other tech giants. The hearing was designed as an opportunity to discuss the relationship of the tech industry with the Chinese government and the concerns that has in the United States.  Unfortunately there were two seats left empty…that is where this story begins.
