We are at the very brink of the death of the internet.  From Trump’s passing of the FOSTA – SESTA law to the EU’s first step towards the final passing of the Copyright Directive there is simply no good news as it comes to preserving the internet as we know it.  Ultimately this could spell the end of free speech, free internet and the beginning of the loss of any dissenting opinions available for viewing.

On this broadcast, we will cover what the EU’s sweeping measure covers and why the founders of the internet are screaming for it not to be passed in its final form.  Yet, in the background, Facebook and Google can be seen salivating in the hopes of its passage to assure the swift and immediate death of all it’s smaller competitors.

We must hope and pray that the EU’s passage of the Copyright Directive fails before it crosses to our shores and begins to impact just another of the few freedoms we still enjoy as a nation.
