The U.S. Army Reserve is checking whether several types of support formations could become available to SOUTHCOM within 90–120 days amid reported contingency planning involving Cuba.
Thousands of miles away, five men were arrested near RAF Fairford — a British installation used by American strategic bombers — on suspicion of terrorism and explosives offenses.
Investigators are examining several possible motives, including a potential Iran connection.
