The world just moved one step closer to either World War III or Cold War version 2.0.  Russia, China, and the U.S. are all taking extreme measures to appear the most powerful in this life or death struggle to maintain military superiority and global dominance.  Who was once a mere footnote in the overall threat prospectus just too a HUGE leap forward in nuclear capability?

As many of you understand, the threat of what one can do is a much better replacement for the actuality of what one can do…as it relates to the wartime theatre.  Prior to this article, we knew that, for all intents and purposes, we could have knocked their missiles from the skies.  After this article, that is no longer guaranteed.  This newest threat could force our counterstrike hand if forced…a step in the wrong direction that could have dire consequences.
