It is truly time we all sit back and understand why ‘for profit’ companies are continually entering the ring to violate our privacy. Why is Jeff Bezos and Amazon working with police departments across the United States to assure that facial recognition software is readily available to ramp up surveillance? What has the ACLU up in arms about potential violations of civil rights and racial profiling? Is is now possible to identify you with your back turned to the camera…or even when you’re not in the frame? Watch this broadcast to learn more about how the Police State will simply be child’s play once this tech gets into full distribution.

““A series of studies have shown that face recognition technology is consistently less accurate in identifying the faces of African-Americans and women as compared to Caucasians and men,” Ellison and Cleaver wrote in their letter.
“The disproportionally high arrest rates for members of the black community make the use of facial recognition technology by law enforcement problematic because it could serve to reinforce this trend,” they added.
When using Rekognition to analyze video, you can track people through a video even when their faces are not visible, or as they go in and out of the scene. You can also identify their movements in the frame to tell things like whether someone was entering or exiting a building.”
