Barack Obama is warning America that Trump’s use of the National Guard is somehow a threat to “rights and liberties.” Really? This is the same man who armed non-military government agencies during his presidency—agencies like the IRS, EPA, and even the Department of Education. If Obama thought it was perfectly fine to hand out weapons to bureaucrats, why is it suddenly “tyranny” when Trump uses the National Guard—an actual military force—under constitutional authority? Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
