While America is consumed by political infighting, a series of disturbing national-security developments is exposing a much larger threat.

Meanwhile Lake Powell and Lake Mead are sitting at historic lows, geopolitical tensions with Russia remain elevated, and the United States is racing China for leadership in the infrastructure powering the next generation of artificial intelligence.
