Not at all. It was CHRISTENDOM attacking eachother, NOT Christians. Christendom is PAGAN, not Christian, even though they’ve always claimed to be Christian. There are billions of Christendom, and less than ten million Christians. The word of God is definately not full of hate nor ignorance. It is filled with love and justice. The problem is, you don’t know what’s in God’s word. God is described as love. We’re made to be like Him, but most people ignore God’s word, especially those of Christendom. In fact, the cross, what Christendom lyingly claims is a symbol of Christianity, is actually a symbol for the ancient pagan god Tammuz, from ancient Babylon. Jesus was killed on a tree with no branches, a torture STAKE, not any cross. It seems the ignorance is yours my friend. You can remedy that though, if you’ve a mind to.,

Mike, all you are trying to do is to create excuses by doing like so many other Christians do and attacking Christians you don’t agree with. Christians and Christendom are the same thing. You just all have invented your god in your own images and you can’t agree on anything. None of you can show that any of you are Christians, that your god exists or that the bible is true. I do agree with you that Christianity is a tiny religion since each Christian claims that they and they alone have the ‘right version’. It’s not a majority religion at all and certainly not the religion of any country. It’s far less than 10 million.
The word of your god, e.g. the bible is full of hate and ignorance, and we can see that from your own hate of anyone who has a different Christianity than you do. This god commands that those who don’t agree with it are killed, just like any petty bronze/iron age god. This book can’t figure out that the world isn’t flat, that magic doesn’t cure disease, and that magical floods 28,000+ feet deep never happened.
I’ve read the bible, as a believer and as not so I know exactly what is in the bible. Yep, this god is described as love, but this poor god can’t even come up to the definition of love in 1 Corinthians. Actions speak louder than words. This god supposedly also has given the ability to heal to any baptized believer in Christ as savior, but funny how none of you Christians can do this.
It’s great to see you attack people who are just like you, with your claim that the some of the parts of Christianity are “wrong” and their claims that other parts of Christianity are wrong. Just one more silly sect that has declared itself the one true Christianity.

mike, do tell how someone can be nailed to a single stake through both hands. you might also want to explain why in Jewish sources, Christians try to glom on to words about a sorcerer who was hanged, not stuck on a stick.
Not much reason to think your version is any more right than the classic Jesus on a set of crossed sticks. It is pretty silly to use a torture device as a holy symbol. But heck, when you have a god that requires a blood sacrifice to make itself happy because of something it caused, then why wonder about anything at all in such a bunch of nonsense

Only a person who has no understanding of God and the Bible would make a comment such as yours clubschandenfreude. Remember this, people will always fail you, God never fails at anything. By the way, there are over a 100,000 artifacts discovered that supports the Bible and nothing discovered to the contrary.

well, spike, what are these 100,000 artifacts? How about give 5 of them? And funny how we have no evidence of the exodus, not one latrine for 600,000+ men plus their families and livestock. We have no evidence for the dead patriarchs walking around Roman-occupied Jerusalem around passover. We have no evidence of a magical 28,000 foot deep flood.
I know the bible quite well, having read it a couple of times.

Sorry, frank, but no abuse from a catholic priest, no bad events with Christians, just a pile of evidence that there is no reason to believe in Christianity at all. I’ve read the bible and i know exactly what it says. Most Christians have no idea what they profess to claim is true.
There is no evidence for the claims in the bible; no evidence for eden, the flood, the exodus, fabulous palaces and temples, the events supposedly on one certain day where the sky darkened, there was a major earthquake and the dead were walking around Roman-occupied Jerusalem. But, if you do have evidence, please supply it.
I have watched Christians attack each other and invent their religion in their own image. You guys can’t even convince each other or show that your particular version is the only true one. I also know that none of them can do what is promised for baptized believers of Christ as savior in the bible. I do wish you could heal like the bible promises, just for the well-being of veterans with amputations, children with cancer, people with dementia, etc.
There is also plenty of hate and ignorance in the bible. Per the bible, this god demands the genocide of those who don’t worship it, it demands that believes kill family members if they don’t worship the right god. In a slightly less vicious take on things, it has that believers should choose their religion over family like any cult insists on.
Then in the bang up ending of the bible, there is this god that forces humans to work with its supposed archenemy (Revelation 17), and then, after it kills all non-christians, proceeds to allow this enemy to corrupt the Christians that are left (Revelation 19-21). What a ridiculous god.

You mean, you don’t know? The bigotry of the Religious right woke up the minority they had been condemning for centuries and they fully expected we gays to just lay down and take it. Well my friend, we got educated and realized that your religion is nothing but a control mechanism invented by the Romans to keep the new Christians from running amok and overturning everything the Romans had built and believed in. Thus you end up with a bible that is neither factual nor true, it is almost all allegorical, which now that we are educated as a nation, no longer need that allegory nor do we need mommy and daddy government looking over our shoulder to make sure humans do not screw things up. Obviously it didn’t work because the religious right is just as bigoted as they have been for all those centuries.
But most of all. you and your ilk, JUSTUS not only have no idea who your Gods are, but you don’t have a friggin clue what your Gods are. You might take some time to figure that out, because it is not going away, because those that you do consider Gods are already here and are observing us at one of our most critical junctures.

The three MAGI (wise men of ARYAN – ZOROASTARIANISM) brought gifts of GOLD, FRANKINCENSE, and MYRRH to Baby Jesus. Do you think they came all that way, dropped off their VALUABLE gifts, and left?! Then, when Jesus was 12, he used those gifts to pay his expenses to travel to INDIA and complete his studies of YOGA/HINDUISM nand He became an “Enlightened Master” (He achieved CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS) THEN, when He was 32/33 He returned to Palestine to spread what He had learned IN INDIA.

THIS is why the Priests HAD to kill Jesus …. he was preaching LOVE, UNIVERSAL brotherhood, FORGIVENESS …… Those concepts are DEADLY to a Tribe that bases It’s existence on HATE and VENGEANCE, that follows a WAR god.
Judaism is the “SOUR GRAPES” Tribe. The 10 “plagues” of Egypt are actually 10 INSULTS directed at each of the 10 gods main that opposed ATEN, the Sun god of the Exodus.
During the 1980s an earthquake shook Biblical myths. The discoveries made by the “new archaeology” discredited a great exodus in the 13th century BC. Moses could not have led the Hebrews out of Egypt into the Promised Land, for the good reason that the latter was Egyptian territory at the time. And there is no trace of either a slave revolt against the pharaonic empire or of a sudden conquest of Canaan by outsiders.
Modern archaeology proves that the Exodus actually happened to the Hyksos, not the Hebrews, so claiming descent from Moses really doesn’t mean that much since he seems to have stolen all the stories he wrote down (like the story of the flood copied from the Epic of Gilgamesh). At best he is a great self-promoter; at worst he was a hoaxer like Oded Golan. Some scholars, such as Sigmund Freud, have pointed out the obvious implausibilities on the Moses story and have suggested that “Moses”, an Egyptian word meaning “Prince” may have been another name for the heretic Pharaoh Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV), and the story of the Exodus a highly romanticized telling of his attempted return from exile, with the usual spin so that failure to reclaim his throne is sold to later generations as a symbolic victory.

Why would downtrodden slaves “escape” to a PROVINCE of their Master? Palestine/Syria was all subject to Egypt at the time of the exodus. Moses was “raised” as an Egyptian Prince, because Moses WAS an Egyptian Prince. As a matter of FACT, the “Hebrews” are EGYPTIAN Aten worshippers who interbred with the Native People of Palestine.
The Hebrews, the participants of the fabled Exodus, were EGYPTIAN refugee worshipers of ATEN, the MONOTHEISTIC Egyptian LIGHT God.
After Amenhotep IV aka Akenhaten elevated Aten to THE god of Egypt (THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME)
the priests of Amon and the lesser gods worked to undermine Aten. Upon the death of Pharoh Akenhaten, the “ONE” god, Aten, was
overthrown. The temples and all trace of Aten were pulled down and erased. The followers of Aten were persecuted and harrassed.
After some years of this, the followers of Aten made an “exodus” (a going out) from Egypt, to the COLONIES of Egypt in Palestine.
NOTE:
Oddly enough, Egypt reached new heights of imperial splendour and prosperity during the New Kingdom (18th – 19th dynasties). Tutmosis III campaigned beyond the EUPHRATES and reached the Fourth Cataract on the Nile; Rameses II halted the advance of the Hittites in SYRIA, which means Egypt marched ALL OVER the so-called Israeli kingdom, because Egypt OWNED PALESTINE.
Jerusalem was ruled by New Kingdom Egypt from 1550-1440 BCE.

This is people who WERE Egyptian and LEFT, went OUT OF the center of Egypt to seek refuge at the edges of Egypt, but still under the umbrella of Egypt. They were angry, bitter, and vengeful over their fall from power and morphed into a War God worshipping Vengeful Tribe.

The followers of Aten wandered in the desert for years (40?). They assimilated legends, myths, and People, into their Religion and Tribe.
The first generation of refugees passed on, and their religion morphed from a “loving, peace, LIGHT and enlightened god”
to a vengeful, resentful, scab-picking War god.
THIS is why there is NO Egyptian archeological evidence of a Jewish/Semitic presence OR exodus.
Any Exodus consisted of a relatively small band (12 FAMILIES) of EGYPTIANS leaving the “heart” of Egypt for the frontier, in the face of religious persecution that included the complete erasure of the God of the Exodus, ATEN.
