We should not be surprised by this. When the movie Forrest Gump was released, we saw Tom Hanks shaking hands with a long-since-dead president. If they could pull that off, I knew they could pull anything off. We would never be able to trust a video again as “proof” of anything. It’s the “digital matte” technology (or better) that we saw in The Running Man. They could have little-old-insignificant me confessing to war crimes on national television that I never committed. Same for any of you.

The movie Star Ship Troopers III (2008) shows this tech (video of a political figure saying fake things thru a 2nd person behind the scenes) being used toward the end of the movie. This is nothing new.

Get a hold of a copy of the movie Looker that came out about the same time as They Live.They have had these plans for a long, long time….. It is just too bad humans are stupid and arrogant enough to go aid and abet them.
